Magneto Essa

Essa is the meaningless moniker of two meaningful men from london tim white and max bruce. originally based in nottingham, they achieved early releases for the likes of warp, d-vision, strictly 4 groovers [diy discs], pagan, fat city and the redoubtable paperecordings.
their first paper cut was the "pin hole burns ep" which was widely acclaimed by everyone from bob jones to annie nightengale. later they hit with "africans in space" - an ashley beedle and mary-anne hobbs favourite, these tracks were included on paper"s splinter compilations.

the current single "under construction" boasts a stunning reset remix, as well as their original "corn dolly dub" which they describe as "the soundtrack to the burning of a huge wicker man on chicago"s southside".

essa released this debut on 19th nov on cd, the vinyl will be out next year. however it was preceded by the "magneto essa" track and a special remix of "the immortals" by BRS (british rhythm services)which has become a hit with the likes of burridge, richards, halo, hipp-E and layo.
